Gank squad:

A gank squad is a group of heroes that moves together to ambush and kill an enemy hero, usually by catching them away from safety or before they can react. In Dota 2, a gank squad often combines crowd control, burst damage, and vision or smoke to find a target, secure a quick numbers advantage, and convert the kill into map control. It matters because successful ganks can shut down a core hero’s farm, force enemy rotations, and open space for towers, Roshan, or objectives. For example, three heroes smoke into the enemy jungle, disable a split-pushing mid laner, and eliminate them before nearby allies can arrive.
