Bonus Round:

A bonus round is the round immediately after a team wins the pistol round and can carry over its economy advantage into a light-buy or force-buy round while the losing team is still saving or buying cheaply. It matters because the pistol winner can use the extra credits and surviving weapons from the previous round to widen the economic gap, while the other side often has limited armor, utility, and upgraded guns. Teams use bonus rounds to preserve rifles when possible, take fights that reward the better loadout, and still try to build toward a full buy in the next round. For example, after winning pistol, a team may buy Spectres and utility for the next round and keep one or two pistols in reserve; if they win that round too, they enter the third round with a much stronger economy and weapon advantage.
