Spike Rush is a shorter VALORANT game mode where each round gives every player the same random weapon and a team race to plant or defend the Spike.

It is used for quick matches, practice, and casual play because it keeps rounds fast and reduces the time needed to buy weapons or manage economy. The mode also changes how players think about each round: everyone works with the same loadout, so positioning, ability use, and Spike control matter more than full-match gun selection. For example, a player may spawn with a shotgun or SMG one round and use a close-range site push to plant the Spike before the defending team can retake.
